“The last 25 years I’ve been inspired by nature. It wasn’t until recently that I realized, I’m not just painting pretty things. These “pretty things” like flowers, butterflies and bees, truly give us life. As an artist and eco-activist, I want to magnify and protect these amazing little miracles, in hopes that all of humanity will appreciate the massive impact that they make in our everyday lives. My intention in life is to live authentically, embrace nature, and enjoy celebrating all of the beauty in simplicity in life! I hope my work brings you joy!” – Olivia
Olivia is an internationally recognized fine artist who found her artistic gift at age 5, while battling Leukemia. What started as a hobby and emotional escape from her cancer treatment soon turned into her passion and full-time career.
Olivia sold her first painting at the age of 8 and was in awe that someone wanted to purchase a piece of her art. This led to Olivia touring and selling her work at local art shows around Texas. At age 12, Olivia received national attention after her meeting with President Bush as well as her appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. At 13, she was named, “One of 20 Teens Who Will Change the World” along with Michael Phelps and Kelly Osbourne by Teen People Magazine for her entrepreneurial and philanthropic work.
Olivia continued to travel and sell her work at shows and in gallery exhibits. At the age of 14, she self funded and opened the Olivia Bennett Art Gallery in Southlake, TX. Olivia successfully owned and operated her gallery for 5 years. During that time, she discovered her love for teaching and dedicated part of the gallery space to serve as an art school. She has taught and spoken to thousands of budding young artists.
Olivia has spent the last 15 years touring, speaking, painting live, and creating collaborative artwork for collectors, commercial properties, cause awareness and fundraising. She is very involved in many local and national charities and non-profits with a specific focus on childhood illness, health and the environment. She hopes to use her art to inspire others and make the world a more beautiful place. Now 31, Olivia lives in Park City, Utah with her husband/ business manager John, and son Graham. They relocated to Utah to raise their son in nature, and to live in a constant state of inspiration! Olivia and her family are passionate vegans, and her new artistic focus is on embracing the beauty in simplicity and magnifying the glory of the natural world around us.
